I saw this topic as a status of one of my acquaintances on that detestable social networking site we all know and love:

Big Lies evoke sufficient cognitive dissonance for the public to embrace the Big Lie…but only for a time.

I watched it for a little while, seeing the comments flying.
Then I got involved. I couldn't help myself.

Exactly, now the American Nazi Regime that runs this planet has implemented this in many scenarios : Climate Change, 9/11, the economy and democracy as a whole.

the economy is being manipulated so the everyday man has less and less to make a decent living from, and that pisses me off big time. oohh and dont bring up the climate thing, plenty 'green bunnies' gonna come for your ass bro hehe. see it gives them something to believe in and if you take that away theyre pretty much left with nothing. thats probably the funniest lie 'they' came up with.

Yah I have already been attacked by many a green bunny - but they don't seem to get the point and fuck! I'm sick of trying to explain. Individual freedoms are being taken away very subtley while we watch reality TV and eat MacDonalds and Al Gore lies himself into the first Carbon Billionaire.

If I may, you all seem to agree that this is a fucked up establishment. Right? But what options are left? Start a new colony in a remote part of the planet? And then, once that is accomplished, and all beliefs and thinking are aligned, the new society is structured the way you want it to be, what happens then? Won't you just be perpetuating the same problem? Dont you think that within the new society, thinkers and believers such as yourself will evolve to once again challenge the establishment? I think you guys are missing the real problem. You think governments and certain individuals are flawed. We are all flawed. Humanity is the problem. You me, and everything you know or believe. You want balance? You want resolution? Start praying for the cataclysmic destruction of us all.

Ahh Tony, I wish we could've had some more conversations along these lines, but I fucked up there :)

I def agree that societies will always break down into a cesspool of greed and destruction and will eventually need to be challenged. It has always been this way and so weaves the wheel of time.

I do, however, believe that we are currently at one of those moments. The status quo needs to be challenged because the we are swimming in the mire of an empire on the brink of collapse and the consequences of this are catastrophic on biblical proportions. ...
