So who thought Californication Season 4's ending sucked?

Here's my hand, raised high, high I say, extending the middle finger to this failed bit of anti-climactic cinema.

Shit it sucked.
And with that lame vanilla sky crap and Wank Moody cruising into it?
Come on.
Really?

I'm a big fan of the show (I think the blog kinda eludes to that)
I'm a fan of the man who makes it what it is.
But I gotta say, I thought Duchovny was in the driving seat.
Maybe he shouldn't be.
Maybe he should sit shotgun, and let Tom Kaprinos steer the ship for a bit.

I kinda feel like maybe it's run it's course. The show always did have hard way of trying to top each preceding season.
Hank loses Karen. Runckle does some fucked up shit that borders on the freaky. Hank tries to get Karen back.
She gives in.
They make the love.
Season ends with a cliff hanger.

I mean, it's going to get old eventually.
